NOTICE TO BIDDERS

OWNER: The Fox Metro Water Reclamation District hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be
received for the Project 2026-01: Sewer Maintenance Contract.

BID TIME AND PLACE: Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 AM Prevailing Time, on the 18th
day of February, 2026, at the Administration Building of the Fox Metro Water Reclamation
District, 682 State Route 31, Oswego, Illinois 60543. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will
be publicly opened and read aloud.

BIDDING AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The Bidding and Contract Documents may be obtained
by email request to: jkolweier@foxmetro.org. If paper copies are required, please contact
Jonathan Kolweier at Phone: (630) 301-6879 or email. A fee may apply for paper copies. Bids will
only be accepted in paper form, sealed and delivered to the Administration Building of the Fox
Metro Water Reclamation District, 682 State Route 31, Oswego, Illinois 60543.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project consists of but is not limited to: televising and light cleaning
of sewers, heavy cleaning of sewers and wet wells, televising of sewer laterals and services, sewer
root and protruding tap removal, cleanout installation, cured-in-place pipe lining, cured-in-place
lateral reinstatements, sewer and manhole joint sealing, manhole rehabilitation, manhole lining,
and the provision of supporting equipment and labor to complete the aforementioned sewer
maintenance activities, all in accordance with the Contract Documents, with provisions for annual
contract extensions. The Work may also include working with communities within the District’s
service area, performing the same maintenance activities through an intergovernmental
agreement (IGA).

BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10 % of the Bid shall accompany each
Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A mandatory, pre-bid conference will be held at the Fox Metro Water
Reclamation District, 682 State Route 31, Oswego, Illinois 60543, at 10:00 AM, on the 4th day of
February 2026.

BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any
informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of OWNER.
