Proposals will be prepared per the specifications detailed within the Solicitation document(s). Proposal packets are available at no charge with registration through JAGGAER (links provided on City Website: www.cityofboise.org). The scope of work of the item being sought to purchase is: The Boise Airport (BOI) is requesting proposals for implementing a building automation system (BAS) solution at Boise Airport. The work includes providing and configuring the BAS solution per Airport specifications, including working with Airport staff to create a new graphics standard. The Airport’s goal for this works is to implement a quality BAS solution to facilitate high performance building operations, both in terms of occupant comfort and efficient energy use. To meet this goal long-term, the Airport believes the system must: 1. Be capable of performing automated fault detection and diagnostics. 2. Provide energy management and operational analytics capabilities. 3. Provide an integration path or have native connectivity to legacy systems (Disego CC) 4. Have strong local support. The intent is to negotiate a service agreement with successful vendor for ongoing support of the BAS. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any irregularities in the Proposals received and to accept the Proposal(s) that are in the best interest of the City. Do proposed devices connect to a network node first, and then a network switch, or each

What happens to proposed system if there is a network outage?
If the management system is cloud-based, is it 'push' only where it's pushing heartbeats to
the cloud and actions are then taken or is the traffic push/pull? (read: are we required to
allow inbound traffic from the Internet for system management?)
Do the managment system or controller nodes support SNMP (simple network
management protocol) so that we can monitor health of the system through SNMP?

of the Idaho Code, to include any city or political subdivision of this state including, but not
limited to counties; school districts; highway districts; port authorities; instruments of
counties; cities or any political subdivision created under the laws of the State of Idaho;
any agency of the state government; and any city or political subdivision of another state.
It will be the responsibility of the "Public Agency" to independently contract with the vendor
and/or comply with any other applicable provisions of Idaho Code governing public
contracts. Typically, other municipalities buy from our agreement.
