The scope of work of the item being sought to purchase is: The City of Boise is requesting proposals from a project team with expertise in urban design principles, sustainable development, placemaking, landscape design, and architectural design, to act in the role of consultant for an update to the City of Boise Design Review Standards and Guidelines (Design Guidelines). The Design Guidelines are a regulatory document that guide the design of development in the city, implemented by City Design Review staff and the Boise Design Review Commission. The project team should have experience in developing site, landscape, and building design standards and design review procedures for mid- to large-sized cities. In determining the best qualified proposal, Purchasing will consider all acceptable proposals on a basis consistent with RFQ requirements. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any irregularities in the Proposals received and to accept the Proposal(s) that are in the best interest of the City. Boise City is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City of Boise is exempt from Federal and State taxes and will execute the required exemption certificates.
